Lance W. Matlock, Sculpture, Oils And Acrylics
Lance W Matlock is originally from Dallas, Texas. At an early age, he and others discovered his "God given" talent for painting and sculpting. One of his earliest works was an oil painting of the school mascot requested by his teachers. He continued with oils and acrylics, developing a beautiful and unique dimensional style that is reflected in each of his works, from the oil painting of The Toy Box, to the creative sculpture of the Horse, made from rare, one of a kind, vintage parts.
Lance moved to colorful Colorado in 1979 and developed his talents utilizing over 26 years of formal training. He extended his work to creating unique and imaginative metal sculpture, and used his talent in the high end automotive restoration business to help financially, while he was establishing himself as a genuine talent in the art community. Lance now creates unique one of a kind paintings and sculptures on a full time basis.
